lexsum
in general the bbc stuff sucked, edmonds on swapshop, saturday superstore with mike reid, going live with sarah greene, then later dick and dickless. tiswas was the best, and the other itv stuff was good too. gilbert the alien was fantastic - there is a clip of him on youtube, they even interviewed alan moore on get fresh! now kids tv is round the clock crap that treats kids like morons (or americans.) True in general the bbc stuff sucked, Totally agree, Itv had all the best saturday morning tele. Branners
dont know. I do know I used to record it and watch it at night after going to the pub...so I must have been at least 14 It was a bit like Tizwaz. They had their own version of the Phantom Flan Flinger and it was all a little edgy for kids. I will find more details.
SupraStar 3000
loosely related to this topic: does anyone remember 'Mark and Lard' on radio 1. That show was comedy genius. Had me in stitches

It was, as Simon the Cheese Ranger's Dad was possibly Dr Joseph Mengele "I particularly enjoyed your technique wiz ze poles" One didn't expect that on a Saturday morning.
