which offset for 9.5" rear wheels??

On a 9.5" wide rim what would be the best offset to have the wheel fit completly flush with the arch? just wondering whether i should get an offset close to a GTR (et30) to get it fitting nicely

Too many variables, the design of the wheel etc.

 

The stock wheel is +50 offset so that may give you an idea.

i didnt think the design if the wheel should make a difference. Only perhaps to whether it would clear UK spec brakes. I thought the whole point on the offset is to determine where the wheel would sit with regards to the hub.

Yes, correct.

 

The stock rear wheels, 17" ones are 9.5" wide with a 50mm offset. Obviously lowering the offset will bring the wheel out away from the hub.

 

I've got 19's on the rear, 9.5" wide , 275/30 tyres with a 37mm offset and they sit just nice relative to the arch.
