Alex
From the MVP web site.....just wondered what this was for and what application it would be used in does this affect only US Supra's? I have drawn no conclusions just curious..... Powerhouse Racing Fuel Pressure Pulsation Dampener Bypass A must-have for all BPU Supras, the PHR Bypass consists of a #6 Stainless Steel Braided hose with metric fittings to route from the factory fuel filter to the rear of the factory fuel rail. Installation is a breeze: just remove the factory fuel line at the fuel filter, install the metric fitting, attach the #6 line, remove the factory fuel line at the fuel rail and move it aside, then attach the other end of the #6 line, and you are done! This completely bypasses the OEM pulsation dampener unit, a severe restriction in the factory fuel system. Installation of this unit allows you to maximize the factory fuel system with less risk of a lean condition. A must have for any Supra! Guest Martin F
These are applicable to UK Supra's and as far as i know Jap spec as well. The fuel pulsation damper is in the supply line inbetween the fuel filter and fuel rail, and as far as i know is there to reduce noise (i.e. pulses) from the fuel system. Some people have had problems with the damper causing a restriction in the line, and hence possibly running lean.
