richard cash Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 I was thinking about getting some Gmax springs on ebay for my girlfriends supra but noticed that they lower the car 40mm. I wondered whether this would work though as she has 19" rims already ordered. Is this going to be a problem with rubbing arches? Jim_1979 Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 I have UK suspension with stock springs, 19" wheels and I think the car sits quite high to be honest. caseys Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 I had 40mm drop front + rear and 19's on it with yellow bilsteins, car was stiff as **** and handled like a greasy rollerskate, but had no issues with rubbing. However when i have lowered cars in the past, i have always found it is never quite as low as quoted. One of us should bite the bullet, how much will it cost you for fitting?
