richard cash
I was thinking about getting some Gmax springs on ebay for my girlfriends supra but noticed that they lower the car 40mm. I wondered whether this would work though as she has 19" rims already ordered. Is this going to be a problem with rubbing arches? If so then where the hell can i find some 30mm springs as i cant locate them anywhere thanks in advance rich

Jim_1979
I have UK suspension with stock springs, 19" wheels and I think the car sits quite high to be honest. I would say there's plenty of room for a 40mm drop. That's what I'll be going for.
JODY T
wont be a problem..
JustGav
You will loose some of the handling characteristics going to 19" wheels, be aware of that...
jonahjones26
I have lowered mine on tein's 35mm still a little room to play with!
caseys
I had 40mm drop front + rear and 19's on it with yellow bilsteins, car was stiff as **** and handled like a greasy rollerskate, but had no issues with rubbing. Reraised to stock springs + 18's much better imho handling wise.
Guest mattsupra
mine is a pain in the rear to drive with 19"s on it and am thinking of getting 18"s on it due to the fact it tracks the road like hell and weaves about so i am thinking of selling the 19"s and getting 18"s matt
kosmic
as long as the offset is correct then it wont be a problem. Ive had 19's on coilovers with a 60mm drop and without any rubbing at all.
Guest cj748
Had the same idea on the G-max as they are only £85. I have 18's but looking at the rear i am a little apprehensive about 40mm! However when i have lowered cars in the past, i have always found it is never quite as low as quoted. One of us should bite the bullet, how much will it cost you for fitting? I have had quote for £100!! So still looking......
Jim_1979
Fitting? ... free!! lol. My mate would do it for me. Springs generally take some time to settle in, so they won't be instantly lower.
