Sandy-m2
Ok guys sorry if this has been done to death but... What is this part, I know it stops the TPS but does it actually do something? http://lh3.ggpht.com/sandy1macdonald/SA5G7km-aQI/AAAAAAAAA2A/TxK9N3t_HAI/s400/Throttle%201.jpg It seams like when the car is cold it Idles ok but when the car heats up this expands(?) and causes the car to idle higher. I have come to this conclusion because if I push the TPS sensor downwards it returns to idling ok. does this make any sense to anyone? Swampy442
Ive never thought about it! Could it be some sort of damper for the throttle to stop damage to the tps if you jump off the pedal?

Tricky-Ricky
Its just a damper for the throttle, stops it snapping closed, if adjusted wrong it can cause too much delay in returning to idle problems.
