KimberleyAnn
I am doing a bungee Jump from a crane which is 170ft, to raise money for the air amublance team in London, which saved my stepdads life. I was just wondering if anyone has done this type of bungee jump? Im really scared!
marc_p
nope, but as long as the rope isn't 171ft long you should be alright
KimberleyAnn
Ah dont, thats what im scared of, hitting the ground!!
jonahjones26
Yeah in florida, not from a crane though, think it was 300ft and a little bit of wee came out as i was pretty scared But once you've finally thrown yourself (pushed) off the platform it's pretty good fun (after i stopped crying)! Have fun
AndrewOW
No, I haven't done a bungee jump, but I'd prefer to do that than sing karaoke sober! Probably Good luck with it though.

stevie_b
I admire your guts! I've never done one, but my advice would be to "lean back and think of England!"
dane_stone
I've done 2 now I find them easy to do. My advise is when it gets to the top don't walk up to the edge and stand there for awhile. walk straight up and jump don't think about it. redtwinturbo
My advise is when it gets to the top don't walk up to the edge and stand there for awhile. walk straight up and jump don't think about it. I agree, i've done one before as well, this is definatley the best way. Don't look over the edge/hang around. Once everything is rigged up stand at the edge, try and look forward rather than down! Once they finish the countdown go for it, first time, nice and confident I did mine from a bridge in Oz its great fun once you've jumped. Good luck

tooquicktostop
There was a crane set up over the swimming pool of the place we used to drink at in Faliraki some years ago, we were on a lads holiday and the topic of conversation every day was who was going to jump, several did, but not me, WAY to scared of heights and the constant thought of not jumping once at the top which happened to one of our group, just bottled it at the last moment, was given a 10-1 countdown by the whole pool several times but never jumped, the climb down was the worst walk of shame ever and effected his pulling ability for the rest of the week

Blackie
I could never do it as I am terrified of heights. Same here, I start to shake uncontrollably on the fifth run of a ladder. True EDIT: Good luck with it
Jspec Germany
Done it twice in the U.S. All the above advice is good. Make sure the place is very repuitable and watch two people go before you. Water and lots of it moving not too fast is a big plus if something goes wrong. If there's no medical personnel/EMTs around don't jump.
