dannypunto
I don't care about going down after 1 season. Of course it would be nice to stay up but the £60 mil would set the club up for years. We have no debt and own our ground so £60 mil is a fair amount of dosh for Stoke! think u will find the city council own a percentage of your ground
CJ
Snow white is tending the garden when a man shows up. "Quick Snow White" he says, "There's been an accident at the diamond mine and the Dwarves are all missing!" Snow White dashes to the mine with the man following her. "Helllloooo!" she shouts down the mineshaft. A voice drifts up from the mine "Brighton are a great football team " "Well at least Dopey is still alive" says Snow White. CJ
Well, that's our "normal" season finished and what a great achievement it has been by Leeds. At the start of the season, with a -15 points deduction, almost everyone was predicting we would be relegated once again. If I am honest, I would have been delighted with a mid table finish and survival but not only have we avoided that, we have finished 5th in the table and have secured a place in the play offs. I am really proud of the team and the effort they have put in! MOT

Jamesy
As i said before the ONLY reason did sooo well for the massive club they are (that last game victory against the mighty Gilliam must have been awesome!!) is because they have bought players that no rule-abiding club in this league can afford. If they'd paid their bills properly last season then fair enough, but for that pr!ck Bates to wind up Leeds Utd and give back a few pence for every pound owed is a joke. but its alright to star ta new Leeds Utd and buy big again ?! cant wait to see them screw it up in the play-offs. (and YES we could have been in the play-offs had you got the 15 points back as the rumour was they would promote the top 3 then have 4-7th as play-offs.) CJ
You really aren't the sharpest knife in the rack are you OK, (and for the final time as I am sure everyone else is getting as bored with your rantings as I am), I will once again try to educate you in fact rather than rumour, lies and misinformation. As i said before the ONLY reason did sooo well for the massive club they are (that last game victory against the mighty Gilliam must have been awesome!!) is because they have bought players that no rule-abiding club in this league can afford. Would you care to name these big name players that we bought and their transfer fee? If they'd paid their bills properly last season then fair enough, but for that pr!ck Bates to wind up Leeds Utd and give back a few pence for every pound owed is a joke. It is not possible for a director to wind up a company on a whim. It is illegal to try and do so and as such would have been reported by the receivers. As I have already told you, Leeds United were served a writ by the HMRC demanding payment in full for unpaid revenues. Once that was served, the directors had no option but to seek administration as to not have done so would have been illegal under the companies act as it would have meant Leeds United were trading insolvently. As per FL rules, every football creditor was cleared by the new company. The other creditors were paid 22p in the pound which is far more than most any other new company would normally pay. There is also a proviso to pay everyone in full should the new business succeed in getting Leeds United to the premiership. but its alright to star ta new Leeds Utd and buy big again ?! Once again, please name these "big" signings and their fees. cant wait to see them screw it up in the play-offs. (and YES we could have been in the play-offs had you got the 15 points back as the rumour was they would promote the top 3 then have 4-7th as play-offs.) Oh, so rumour becomes fact in your world eh? And isn't it great to see that supporters of "pub team" type outfits like yours have to get their thrills from seeing proper teams fail rather than their own team succeed. Now, before you come back with yet another mistake laden, non factual, juvenile retort, please think twice as you are now really showing yourself up to be quite a silly little man with a very limited intellect. Jamesy
ha ha ha - you dont half spout some cr@p fella. and as for Bates asking for a resignition from the panel because he didn't get the points back which he agreed to have deducted at the begining of the season - what a TOOL that bloke is.
