gavin.starr
has any one got any pictures of what the standard bov looks like on a j-speck twin turbo and where it is located in the engine bay as i want to remove it and fit my new one cheers gav
Pixelfill
The round thingy with 3 hoses coming off it. You'll need to block off one of the hoses when you put your aftermarket one on. (attachment) The blue hoses on my old BoV http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpicgallery.php?do=big&p=157 are the ones that you use on the aftermarket replacement. Hope this helps Mike

AgtX80
I just bought the HKS SSQV, i think the ones made specifically for the supra replace the stock one on top of the engine & the generic ones go in the place yours is by making a hole & welding a flange on? Pixelfill
My old bov was a Sard R2D2 (YES REALLY), and it's not clear from that photo but it just connected by the two blue hoses, the reason it is over there is that there is a bracket that mounts the Bov on the suspension struts, so it's just the angle of the photo that makes it look more complicated than it is. I'll se if I can find a better picture, I've replaced it now with a HQS SSQV, as the SARD was filling up with oil, and jamming Mike
Pixelfill
better picture of how the SARD was attached. Mike
AgtX80
Found this photo of the hks one installed. http://www.od-dg330.de/gross/131_3112.jpg I take it that its not actually attatched to the engine, just suspended by the hoses?
gavin.starr
so i take it you blank this pipe off
Nic
This is how the Blitz BOV kit fits on the Supra, don't think you can buy the fitting kit separately though. Your best bet would be to buy a flange and weld onto the IC hard pipe, either before or after the FMIC.

Jim_1979
I have a the exact Blitz Bov with a much bigger aperture on a flange type thing. I'm looking to get it welded onto my FMIC piping. Would live to get the Supra specific fitting kit if possible? Surely it is as you can buy replacement parts etc for the bov. Anyone?
supra_si
the hks actually has a mounting bracket and is not free floating.
Jim_1979
I want the blitz mounting kit!! I have something similar to this that I bought from ebay... http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/ProductItem-355.aspx Anyone know the diameter of the connecting hose? Not the little vacum one. Is there any reason as to why the pipe length for the HKS BOV is always far too long? I have seen so many installed and the small pipe is always too long and wrapped up around the bay, as in this shot. I cut mine to length to fit it - is that wrong? supraGZaerotop
can you run two bovs, ie, one in the standard location (being ether standard bov or hks sqv) and one on the throttle pipe(blitz duel drive), wonder what it would sound like altho i bet you have to really give it the beans to activate the both of them.
Nic
You can either run it with the standard valve or remove and block off the standard BOV.
