Std Airbox refit.. Failed... Help!

Hi All

It am new to the Supra and I have a 1998 VVTi Tip.

It has the HKS induction which I have been advised is not too good for the car.

I have bought a second hand airbox from a member here (cool) but I have a missing bit (opps)!

I need the rubber pipe that goes from the air box to the alloy Ysplit shown by the white line on the "Gap" pic:

I guess this pipe must house the air low meter that I see attached to the HKS pipework (Air Flow Pic) but I cannot see where it goes? I have attached a pic (Standard) from the Garage of another member showing the standard pipe but I assume that the air flow bit is under the pipe?

I have tried to make the HKS bits fit to do the job but that is not going to work!

Could anyone help me here with the part I need?

Have I got this right?

Thanks for your help

Mark

BTW, is the airbox you`re putting in from a vvti car?

Argh NO!

You have just taught me an important lesson I think!

I am now going to guess that the pre VVTi car does not have this air flow meter and the air box is different :badmood:

So I have scored a home goal and I have the wrong box.

Damm.

Mark
