It's not the same, but is loosly based on New York street layout. You can visit them with either friends or girlfriends. I'm not sure if the acts change between the islands though... I've only seen two so far, one was painfully poor! They change on the same island too, i had the black fella a few times the first one was him doing his music routine "everyday im hustling" and the second was talking about everyone walking too fast, i saw Ricky Gervais' show too. So its supposed to be all new right, but it must still be using the same engine as the other GTA's because: every time you get a certain type of car, thats seems to be the only cars that regularly show up. you get a say an old school chevy, thats all that seems to be driving about. you get a corvette, thats all thats driving about... you get a banshee, they pop up everywhere.... and when do you ever see a turismo? hardly ever unless you have one then they are every where? the cars arnt random, i just dont get why this is, its an awful let down to the game yeah!! Agree - I was very dissapointed for the first few hours of play as I realised it was more of the same, but feels smaller and somehow not as much fun as San Andreas.
