Wandered into Asda just before it's entertainment section opened this morning at 8am and managed to pick up a copy for £37. They only had 2 PS3 copies and less than 10 360 copies left and there was a fairly large queue behind me, so guessing they sold out within 10 minutes. Some big guy was so desperate to get a copy he walked into a display case of CDs and knocked them everywhere! :haha: And some young kid did an "Indiana Jones" under the metal shutters as they raised up outside the store.

:looney:

p.s. lmao at the guidebook and map

Wandered into my local Asda last night to get some smokes and while chatting to the woman behind the counter she mentioned they were open at midnight :)

Got the misses to drive me and a mate down there at 11.50 and there were about 80 plus people in the queue :( serious panic mode set in then!

Let about 5 - 10 people in at a time, they had 2 piles for PS3 and 360 of about 100 each, by the time I got my copy there were about 25 PS3 and 40 xbox .. played until 3.00am and been back on it since 8.15 this morning, fantastic game, cars are taking a while to get used to sliding round corners etc but it's uber

Now back to the game ... :)

Was up on it until about 7am this morning, just woken up :) It truely is a fantastic game, the graphics aren't as good as I was expecting, but I do only have a 720p TV, so it could be that... Like people have said the cars do take a bit of getting used to, but I seem to remember that being the case with most GTA's I've played, and the new advanced fighting does seem to be a bit slow, but in a few hours I'll be like Bruce Lee...

Anyhow, time to top up on porridge and coffee and get back to it :)

(PS - Good to see you got yourself sorted out Homer :))

Anyone else thing the shadows are way 2 dark? even in the daytime you go into a shaddow and its like being in the pitch black and i end up crashing into things.Half the time if the sun isnt directly overhead or is at 90 deg to the building face you cant see the door to a building or anything. very frustrating.
