pasha
hey, Im about to buy my first supra, that comes with a stock japanese hi fi, TV and sat nav. Will the sat nav and tv work in the UK ? if not what can be done to make it work and how much ? Any other problems with the sound or would i be better off just getting an after market stereo ? thanks in advance pasha
lust2luv
Sat nav won't work, not sure about the TV, obviously they have NTSC over there (like the US). Oh and you'll need a band expander for the radio.
Need4Speed
The TV will not work in Europe.
Steve W
Pasha.... might sound a bit harsh, but they're just telling-it-as-it-is. BUT, you won't be needing a TV - you'll be to busy enjoying the Soop ! ! AND, new CD (or MP3?) Head-Units are VERY cheap considering, so although it means complete replacement you can end up with something that still looks and plays well, at a fair price (?) [ Sat' Nav' - NAH, you won't mind getting lost, means more time driving the Soop ! ] S.
Need4Speed
Anyway, who needs music when there's that turbo whistle and bovs to listen to! Not to mention 3.0 litres of straight six howling away at the front. Sat Nav? Britain's not big enough to need that.
