Jim_1979
Hi guys... I've picked up my new wheels from bolarbag. They have 255's on the front and 285's on the rear. 19" wheels, can't remember the profile off hand. The two rear tyres are needing replaced. My question is, can I go with 255's on the front and 275's on the rear? The cost of 285's is just crazy compared with 275's! Thanks for the help in advance! DannoSupra
You shouldn't have a problem if your only going 10mm down/or up How wide are the wheels?
Lbm
I would say so. Even 245s on the front.
Pabs
similar issue here mate - but you'll really need to know the wheel width - if they are 9.5, 10, or 10.5j in width... I've currently got some 19" alloys with 275 tyres on, and the tyres are too thin and are stretched. I need to replace them with wider tyres, but still trying to work out the width of the wheel before I buy them.
Jim_1979
I'm sure he's had 275's on the rear before. Was just wondering if the 255's and 275's would be ok together.
Jim_1979
They are 9.5 on the rear.
Jim_1979
Would 255/35/19 on the fronts and 275/30/19 on the rear be ok? I have the 255/35/19's on the front already and it has 285/30/19 on the rear, but wanting to change to 275's. So would the profile still be 30? thanks
hoff
Yes. My rears are 9.5 x 19 and have 265/30/19 tyres on. Perfect fit, 275's will be fine on the rears:)

Mcgoo
Would 255/35/19 on the fronts and 275/30/19 on the rear be ok? You said you had 9.5" rear wheels so 275/30/19 is just right to keep your rolling radius as close to stock as it can be.
