Tom Posted February 6, 2005 Share Posted February 6, 2005 I'm mid way through changing my hoses at the moment and I've got to the coolant hoses and I'm wondering where this pipe is ment to go to!!! Nope, but it's no problem you just remove and measure 1 at a time, I struggled to get a few of the existing hoses off and ended up having to cut them off, but it's pretty simple. My advice would be to use scissors to cut the thicker hoses and the cigar type cutter that comes with the kit on the thinner hosing as I found it gives a straighter cut with this than the scissors, also a point to note is that some of points that the hoses go over are different thicknesses each end, a couple of times I chose a thicker hose to find out that the other end was much thinner,so it was too loose and I needed a thinner hose! There's plenty in the kit though, way more than you need I believe, I did the accelorater cable by cutting down the middle and wrapping it over(you can't tell) and I plan to do the bonnet stand but I havent decided how I'm going to do that yet! I bought the kit as I wanted to remove the boost leak I may have had and quick test today showed that the boost wouldn't go over .7 bar so either one that I have fitted has come loose or that I havent found the problem one yet, I'm sure last week I was hitting .85!
