Silver Fox
I still cant make my mind up about the blue. I wanted to try it and it took forever to mask it and do it so i cant be bothered now to redo it all again. If i was to do it again i would go for a bit darker blue i think. Guest sunnyG83
Good effort mate, i think the steering wheel needs changed soon too and your Knob is looking a little Knackered (). Have a look in the for/sale section or call Jezz at QSD
pedrostar
Can you guys tell me how you go about doing this? Do you sand anything down and then apply a primer, then apply a second coat? Also could you tell me what kind of paint you use?

SupraGirlie
haha.... I was thinking more along the lines of turquoise with pink poker dots? Get some of that aggressive look tamed LOL!! PM Nic on here, see what kind of prices he offers for a new set of dash panels? I wouldn't bother painting up the ones on there now, you will be surprised at the difference new panels will make

Also could you tell me what kind of paint you use? What i did to do mine was spend a good few hours sanding it all down. Then i applied 3 coats of primer and after each coat i sanded it down very lightly. Then i applied to coats of metalic silver paint. Followed by 4 coats of lacquour. I used acrylic primer acrylic metalic silver and acrylic lacquor. It took alot of time and if im totally honest i am going to have to do one panel again. I found it hard! marcAB10
looking good. but i do reckon the blue could do with being toned down a bit. Top work tho.
Bryan_Jones
Good effort. I'm definately thinking about doing mine at some point. I'm not 100% sure on the blue, but it looks like you've done a decent job of it! Can you guys tell me how you go about doing this? Do you sand anything down and then apply a primer, then apply a second coat? Also could you tell me what kind of paint you use? You can use regular car spray paint, but it's worth getting it from a place that can offer you decent nozzles for the cans or get a spray gun. You'll need: Wet and dry sand paper (very fine) Cleaning solvents Adhesive promoter (as you are spraying plastic) Primer Paint (base coat) Laquer Good luck!
