Guest cj748
Ooh yuk, Montego was awful. My worst was my first. Bought Morris Marina for £60. Didn't even get home from sellers house!!!!!

Ewen
Mk1 Escort estate. £25 including five weeks tax and three months mot. Two tone, white and rust. Rear windows covered in solidified dog drool, two used condoms found under the passenger seat, whole thing stank of fish. I had it two days. Spent the first day washing / hoovering / scraping off the dog drool / washing. Second day, I changed one of the rear tyres...jacked it up and took the wheel off...by the time Id got the spare wheel out, the car had sank down on the jack, the jack had gone right up through the rear chassis. Never buy a car off your family.
juanchan
Never buy a car off your family. Worst car I had was the 1.0 litre Fiat Uno I learnt to drive in. The tartan seats were the only interesting thing about it. It was boring to drive, wouldn't go above 72mph (I once hit 75 down the Warren Bank on the A55 near Chester with a hurricane tail wind. It was a proud moment, 2 days after I passed my test, to "break" the speed limit ), had no rev counter, the speedo had the accuracy of an egg timer and the hand brake wouldn't hold it on a vague hill. Quality piece of Italian kit really.
Pot
Ooh yuk, Montego was awful. I had a Montego GTi once, £150 in Dark Green... One of the best cars I've had TBH, for pure 'ragging' fun
Marc
Montegos where great ,they where a bit like chameolons ,always went brown though!
juanchan
My parents had a 2.0 montego estate. Pretty torque-y. I seem to recall it was at 2k rpm at 70 in 5th and would still pull away quite nicely too!
Guest DevilsAdvocate
Austin A60 Cambridge, handled like the 'Titanic' and just as quick. Roy

snake
when i was a lot younger I had an audi 100Ls bought at auction,my father put his hand up next thing it was mine, it was nothing but trouble a money pit.It cost me more to fix it than it cost to buy. If i were to take him to an auction again i would tie his hands together.
SupraGirlie
hyundai coupe 1.5 turbo old shape great 0-60, plenty of overtaking power under 80 just no grunt after cr*p brakes and handling and looked horrible Wouldn't say worst Car as it was very reliable just pigging ugly. Hyundai Pony Whats the worst car you ever owned? Mine has to be a Huyndai Accent 1.3 litre. Handling was awful, brakes were pretty poor and overtaking required two weeks notice. Whats yours? What did you all expect buying a Hyundai in the first place
