colsoop
Painted, the cf look has been done to death.
BIG BLUE
Painted, the cf look has been done to death. I have to say painted cf is my favourite out of the 3 options.....
edge
Is right that Cf has been done to death but it goes really well with the black wheels.

BIG BLUE
Won't a Top Secret bonnet foul on the fan shroud though? I think they still fit fine

marcAB10
first of all I'd like to say, colsoop that photoshop work is AMAZING.. Secondly, I'd paint it personally as I reckon it looks better

GazB
Looks good either way, but if you don't paint it 'when' you want a change you can paint it
BIG BLUE
http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=147234 This has now confused me! have seen a fair number of supras with ts bonnets and still running shrouds in photos Anybody running one personally? Don't want to stump up the £ and then find it doesn't fit. I thought they did.....
stupra
I'd say you could pull off the unpainted c f look because of your black wheel's, but my choice would be to have it painted if it were mine.
JamieP
Won't a Top Secret bonnet foul on the fan shroud though? Most the copys ive seen do but id imagine a real one would be ok.
Gaz6002
Most the copys ive seen do but id imagine a real one would be ok. I was thinking the same TBH - I'd be very shocked if TS let them go if you had to remove the shroud but reading that thread tells another story. I didn't see anywhere that the bonnet he had was a copy? And paul mac mentions having a similar issue so I dunno?
paul mac
I didn't see anywhere that the bonnet he had was a copy? And paul mac mentions having a similar issue so I dunno? mine is a copy but a home made one using a stock bonnet, i did go a bit mad and wanted the deepest vents i could get, but they fouled the fan shroud, turbo/air filter intake and the intercooler pipe to the plenum which all needed addressing, when i originally scaled the TS bonnet i measured the vent depth at about 25-30mm whereas mine is about 45mm so i would not think the genuine TS would foul and if it did it would be a nats todger, some pics to give you an idea of the depth it requires to start fouling under bonnet
mikeyb10supra
steveyboy on here has one and im sure he got his to fit but needed to slightly cut into the shroud which he was none too pleased about
Guest jules by beads
Hi I am thinking of doing similar, I have a TS bonnet but am thinking of spraying it, could someone please photoshop the bonnet the same red as the body? Cheers Edited June 15, 2010 by Pixelfill embedded images (see edit history)
Homer
I can't do photoshop, but here's the same (I think) bonnet painted red (though it is a TRD widebody supra). Everyone that has seen it so far thinks the red looks better than the carbon it had before being painted.
