What can you do with a V5?

I'm selling my Supra and had two requests now for my V5 document. Obviously it is a scam, but what can you actually do with it?

is it easier to clone a car with it ?

With the VIN you can/could clone the car and use the clone in a robbery.

You could use the chassis number to get keys cut.

 

The address to visit the car and steal it with the above.

 

And then a copy it on stolen paper to "register" the car in their names to sell on to some poor buyer who thinks it's all legit.

I did think about the fact the car could be cloned, but didn't think it would be worth it for a low value car. Unless it is just spammed to every seller with the hope that one bites and it is a good one.
