its a 330 rear tyre on mine cossack and i first saw the fat arse ends on a fat boy 2003 anniversary model with a 300 n it looked sweeeeet as

so i say yer get one lol

330!! no messin there mate, lol, your spot on on the year, 2001, i was gona change but decided not to, had a few run ins with 06+ r1's and TBH i felt mine was faster up to 10,000 than the current one, on the straights they were slightly faster but one really cancels the other out, so im sticking with what i got!! also love the aggressive ride it gives, had a go on the new one and it handles to well for my liking, ive heard of them getting pretty inexperienced riders into a lot of trouble by giving a false sence of security on fast roads!

ps PM me your shop number, would love a chat sometime :D

In the tourist season definitely! Out of season is great though as most of the roads (well, there aren't that many) are empty.

The standard of driving out here is not too bad. I guess we are lucky that there are only around 22k people living on the island and so not that many cars. Bloody different in the summer though! :)

Bit like Cornwall then?? :D

some really bad drivers around.

Too dangerous for me!

No offence intended to you or any other Bikers but I hate the warm season when the Bikes appear, some are truly crazy and I prefer to let them pass me then attempt to race them. I call it "silly season"

The best of the Bunch mate, can't go wrong with that :)

Took my mates K4 1000 out today, My supermoto suddenly feels very slow

Yeah, he went to Bude where he "didn't" meet me :p

This is my GSXR 600 SRAD next to the Aristo as well as my GSX600F teapot in the garage which has to go as soon as I replace the clutch cable.

your right on the "silly season bit" i must agree coz when im in the car they scream past me like there is no tomorrow and some of them dont think about tomorrow just beating there mates to the pub (hmmmm racing from one pub to another...... brings back memories lol) but i stopped it all as a couple of yrs ago everytime i went out to a meeting in lincs there was at least one fatality and it really put me off big time going nuts hence building the harley

thanks again for all the pics etc on this thread and look forward to seeing more

Here are mine;

A much modded 10 year old TLR. Still gets a LOT of comments, probably due to the V-Twin noise :D

And my "Buy British" motard that I must get around to introducing to some green lanes! It uses a Suzuki DRZ-400 engine and WP suspension.

Similar top speed, but I do have the lower geared off-road front sprocket on at the moment and it runs out of revs while still pulling. To be honest, not too bothered about the top speed as it is my "commuter" bike, or so I told my wife ;)

The CCM has the enduro spec. DRZ engine, which is quoted at 53hp (I assume it means flywheel) - most likely 40-odd at the wheel

I think they are 42 hp at the wheel. Mine wouldent rev out in top so i dropped a tooth on the front and when two up on the back. same top end but pulls like a train, I also keep this gearing when i'm having someTrack/greenlane/woods fun

i have spent over 18k on my build but i got everything at trade prices

normally to go to a specialised builder it would be in the region of 30k so well done to jamiep lol

the parts alone normally would be over 20k at least to buy so i got a great deal but like i said it took over two yrs so worth the wait really
