I always fancied something like that but as I have never owned (nor actually ridden) a bike, I cannot see it happening now.

:D I would imagine the life expectancy of a motor cyclist in Kos would be similar to that of a fire eater performing in a firework factory!!

In the tourist season definitely! Out of season is great though as most of the roads (well, there aren't that many) are empty.

The standard of driving out here is not too bad. I guess we are lucky that there are only around 22k people living on the island and so not that many cars. Bloody different in the summer though! :)

I always had bikes as well as cars and the speed rush from a large sports bike takes some beating, I was always one of those bikers who said they were as safe as cars and I have had some great bikes over the years, ZX6R Ninja, ZXR 750, GSXR1100 to name but a few but after a bad crash in 2005 I never rode again and never will

thanks for the comments

ive got a fat arse so its all good on that one lol

sorry not into occ as there bikes they build come with a stipulation that there not to be riden and are only show pieces and if the rider/owner does ride the bike it is void of any kind of warranty and they will not be responsible if anything happens to either bike or rider

which i think is crazy

i know a guy in the states who bought one and he rode it 6 times and the frame cracked 6 times so he binned it and got a real chop my someone else

ive just sold a lovelly streetfighter gixxer 750 old j plate 1992 with a load of polished bits and a rear single seat unit from the 2001 r1 looked and rode awsome as it was also in blue but didnt have 21 gears lmao

my harley has a 330 bk wheel with a 5 speed right side chain drive prowler gearbox, with 21" front wheel n 12" over front end with a bdl 3"open belt drive kit with the harley 1340 evo motor and a lot of other billet ally things too lol

i had a bad crash in 1994 and and then again in 1995 broke my thumb wrist hand elbow cracked 6bones in my spine four ribs n broke two and other scratches n scrapes which wasnt good as it was a brand new rf600 from a furm called kevarks in grimsby and i took them to court due to the fact it had a plug in the rear tyre on a new bike and it leaked air n spat me off n after all that it was said that yes the tyre did leak air and it was my fault wtf??

so not happy at all but i still ride as much as i can and i dont think anything will put me off

I have recently sold mine after being a biker from teenage years.

Roads too bad now IMHO, not just condition but some really bad drivers around.

Too dangerous for me!

(Might just mention that £60 fine for having tax disc in my pocket and not on bike was last straw!):badmood:
