Guest tim_mac
am feeling a bit on the thick side asking this question but i have no idea so going to have to. i am looking to pick up this mr2 i have bought in the next week or so, well when i feel fit enought to drive with my busted arm. its an automatic and i am unsure on something. there are the usual gears like Drive, Park and reverse, but then there are two gears Labelled '2' and 'L'. i know i must sound thick but what do they mean or what are they for?!? tooquicktostop
L stands for Low and is first gear, 2 is second gear, if you place the leaver into 2 for example it will remain in 2nd gear and not change
Guest tim_mac
so is that more like if your trying to race the car or something? because you would normally put it in drive wouldnt you? how would you use them if i wanted to?
jase_93tt
More talk about MR2s, anyone would think theyve accidentally stumbled across a hairdressers forum
tooquicktostop
You can hold the gear longer than in Drive so you will get a bit more out of the car, the Supra set up allows you to drive through the gears in Manual mode, not sure on the MR2
