CJ
As NI is part of the UK, surely a passport isn't required? Just the normal ID? I've flown to scotland and even wales and not once was asked for a passport, only ID (drivers license did the job, though it needs to match home address). Have the regulations changed? Best give your charter company a call Chris, I'm sure they can clarify it right away I think you'll find that the guys were saying he needed photographic ID and seeing as he didn't have a photo licence then a passport will do. bondango
Photographic ID Chris (passport/driving licence) , unless its the RAF flying you in, or you know the owner of Langford Lodge Engineering you will probably head into Aldergrove (up the road from us) Kennals are about 15mins from it IIRC PS thanks for the other, arrived just in time. Chris Wilson
The dog on the Web site picture is brute ugly. Whatever turns you on I suppose :) I know I wouldn't fancy getting into a small plane with anything bigger than a chihuahua. Out of interest ... can you just turn up, buy a dog, stick it into a plane and fly it back to England? It's not a Dogue de Bordeaux I am getting, it's another Bouvier, which that kennels specialise in also My boy is feeling the need for a mate Fawn ones are few and far between, and I want a docked one, so it's either Ireland or a lengthy stay in quarantine and get one out of Europe. Chris Wilson
Easy Jet say any in date official photo ID is adequate as NI is an internal domestic flight, so I should be OK with that. Thanks everyone! I'll get a passport ordered though anyway.
Pete
That means our road trip is off then?
Chris Wilson
We could go by road to look at them, no problem. I thought Vicky had vetoed the idea as I never heard back

I thought Vicky had vetoed the idea as I never heard back Vicki isn't bothered at all, just depends when as I think it'll clash with Rhodes . Flying does sound like much more of an adventure though. Is that basically the charity auction flight?
Chris Wilson
It is yes. I'll be trying to fly with him to collect, to view initially is open to ideas.
RedM
If all else fails I know a bloke with a submarine. He could stop just off the coast, fire you out of a torpedo tube and you could swim ashore in the dead of night.
