Lez
Today I fitted a TRL DSC/SLD unit, but while I was working out which wire to cut on the engine control module I remove the cover from top and middle connecting plugs and started to undo the 10mil bolt between them, but because it was loose I thought it might be some sort of adjuster, the shaped of the cover also suggests so. So I retightened it by hand and put the cover back on because the required wire was on the bottom plug. Can someone tell me what this bolt is for please? I’m really hoping its just to hold the plugs on but……..It sure does look like an adjuster of some sort.
geoffvalenti
I could be really mean and say that it's an adjuster for the ECU, and that you'll have to get the car remapped if you've moved it, but, no mate its just a bolt to hold the connections in Panic over
absz
yeah it holds the plugs to the ecu. stops plugs working loose as theres no locking lugs as such.
