Dash Rendar
Aaargh, I've scuffed my lovely Supra!! While not technical, I wasn't sure where else to post. I need some scuffing to be sprayed over on a fibreglass front bumber. The damage is minor - not structural and only surface scuffing. I want to spray it, but I don't want to spend a fortune 'cause I'm skint!! I'm sure it can be done in situ. Can anyone recommend a decent affordable body shop in the Berkshire area who could do this for me? (And the sooner the better!)
Dash Rendar
And while I'm at it... I also need to get my number plate mounted somehow. I've got Veilside bumper and I'm not sure how / where to fit a plate!
dude
wait untill you can afford to have it done properly dude , best plate on a Veilside is a flexi stick on type Dude
SupraStar 3000
Try asking any sign-writers / vinyl graphic shop for some strong double sided tape for the plate. I bought some stuff with a red backing and it sticks like 'shit to a blanket'. Used it to stick my rear spats on and its lasted over two years. Dash Rendar
I'm not sure about sticking the plate to the nose. Plus, I'm trying to flog the plate that's currently on the car. If and when it sells, I'm worried that if I stick it on, it might take off some paint when I try and remove it. Also, I'm worried it might look a bit too MX5. I think I would rather put the plate under the nose, probably in front of the grill... Assuming it doesn't restrict the airflow too much. Dash Rendar
wait untill you can afford to have it done properly dude Dude, I think you're right. But I can't drive it about like it is at the moment! I would like to spray it over now and then consider having it redone properly in the future if required (when I'm a bit more solvent). P.S. Is it your objective to use the word 'dude' in all your posts!
