Guest Dante
Got bit och missfire problems that seems to happen due to overfueling. Missfires like mad around 1000rpm-4000rpm when i floor the pedal, also missfires like mad if I stay idle and rev it upp to around 2000rpm and hold it there, you can really hear the banging from the exhaust pipe. So thought I'd check the lamda/O2 sensor with the guide here. Reading are from 0,0-0,9, goes like mad upp and down. And everytime it goes over 0,8, my exhaust makes a strange sound (due to overfueling). When i tap the throttle it goes reads 0,5-0,9 something. So does this mean my lamdba is saying goodbye? Car has done about 120 000km, should be around 80k miles.
Digsy
I take it you are reading the volts across the O2 sensor pins in the diagnostic port? If so, I think they should be reading between more like between 0 and 5V, not 0 and 1, but I may be wrong.
Wez
Isnt the stock narrow band signal 0-1v?
Tricky-Ricky
Yes stock reading is 0-1V warm idle should see it flicking around the 0.45v switch point.
