Steviekid
Just like to thank Luke at Sky for getting me a great price on my insurance - £421 fully comp with protected no-claims and all mods declared (with like for like replacement). I've never phoned Sky before and it was great to speak to someone who knows what they're talking about, Cheers!!
michael
Why didn't you just thank him while you were on the phone?
RedM
Why didn't you just thank him while you were on the phone? Good idea especially as phone calls now count towards your post count. It was either that or suffer more people asking each other what they wanted for dinner.

Steviekid
I suppose I thought some members may be interested that the club insurer can be competetive, especially after some recent bad press, but I guess I was wrong. Oh, and I don't think I'm really bothered about getting my post count up seeing as it's "only" 1500 in over three years (most of which is either asking or answering technical questions or helping people with their pet problems). Good to see someone is happy with Sky. TBH methinks there is a silent majority who get a good deal and a whinging few who like to make their dissatisfaction heard. Safely Insured
Just like to thank Luke at Sky for getting me a great price on my insurance - £421 fully comp with protected no-claims and all mods declared (with like for like replacement). I've never phoned Sky before and it was great to speak to someone who knows what they're talking about, Cheers!! Thank you very much Steviekid. Some people are very quick to complain but are not so quick to recommend good service, this has been a thorn in our side on the Supra club forum but we expect it and deal with it as best as we can. Thank you for taking the time to write this post, I have passed your feedback onto Luke as well as the Office Manager and Schemes Manager. We appreciate it very much. Safely Insured
Good to see someone is happy with Sky. TBH methinks there is a silent majority who get a good deal and a whinging few who like to make their dissatisfaction heard. Nail and head! As I've said before, we insure dozens of club members each month so we expect the odd bit of criticism, this is the nature of the insurance beast. It would be nice if the silent majority could post up a bit more often and maybe support us when certain members are calling for a new club insurer. Thanks Ollie Sky Insurance
supra_aero
Don't mean to rain on your parade but has anyone around the age of 25 had a good quote from sky living in a city post code? E.g. London, Bristol, Newcastle or Leeds? They seem great if you live in a village, but not so good if you live in a city. Good quote being under 1.5k by the way for a NA for instance

Safely Insured
well i stand by my original post until I stand corrected (which i bet i wont be). We only insure in villages In all seriousness... we insure more Supras than any other UK broker.. we insure in villages, towns at cities. If we weren't copetitive in cities then our customers wouldn't insure with us. You stand corrected Ollie Sky Insurance
supra_aero
I know you get good quotes, I don't dispute that. I am talking about us younger supra owners who unfortunately live in a city post code. I agree you guys do know your stuff and know imports but its the cost for young drivers I am against. Do you match all quotes by the way? If so maybe i'll call you and see. Do you match all quotes by the way? If so maybe i'll call you and see. You have to understand that we cannot insure everyone. If we insure every Supra owner (including the young ones) our claims loss ratio will go downhill and we have to put everyone's premium up. That is a fact. We do not match quotes as such, if you have had a more competitive quote it is well worth phoning back up or PM me the details so I can refer it back to the underwriter.
