Homer
The DAX Rush is the best one they produced, one of the best handling Caterham 7 replica's ever made.

A friend of mine has a Dax Rush Quadradrive... with a 5.7L V8 - put the engine on a dyno, 700bhp... car weighs about 500 kg - so i am told... zoom zoom, zoom... ooh, no that mazda... Homer
Chevy presumably? any US small block is insane in one of those cars!! What the hell did he use as a drive train to handle that sort of power? A mate of mine has a Westfield SeiGHT with a 3.9 rover V8. Its hard to keep from spinning the wheels at 3000rpm - regardless of the gear it will light up the tires. I can't imagine what the torque of a stock small block would be like, let alone a modified one. Respect to him for doing it though.

Respect to him for doing it though. i dont know what it is, all I know is that he got "bored" of the (only) 3.9 V8 wanted some thing a bit quicker. Again, I dont know what transmission. Money is no object to him... skys the limit... This thing will spin all 4 wheels no prolem... But he does race it, and hill climb it too. At least when he races it, it turns up on the back of a trailer towed by a Land Cruiser Amazone. How big?! And takes it out for a drive on weekends! Pete
It's just ths shame it looks so damn ugly. Reminds me of a Duck Billed Platypus for some reason. You get a few Kamalas turn up at most kit meetings. I think the designs, moulds and jigs were bought by someone - oh here you go.. http://www.kamalacars.com Waaaay overpriced. You could build your self a nice GT40 replica for that money! (My next project ) You can't call a Rush a Caterham 7 replica though. It's very different! (From a Kitcar enthusiast perspective) It's like me saying to you an RX7 is the same as a Supra - they're both Jap sports cars!
