JohnA
... My cally turbo is doing 0-60 in the 5's and has been up to 163 mph (reported thru gps) Moving from a Cally to a n/a supra will hurt a bit (performance-wise) I wouldn't even consider anything less than a TT (which will also feel sluggish in comparison, due to the long gearing mainly) 0-60 is not the Supra's forte though, it is over 100 that it stretches it's legs and gives the CallyT a run for it's money. Scott
I'm guessing calibra turbo 204-240bhp 0-60 5.4-5.8 Top speed 152-158mph
jamesmark
I think it is a Vauxhall Calibra
Guest Bullitt
most calibra turbos will reach 160mph unless they have been driven by chavs. same with the cav turbos. im confident mine will do 165 probably 170. It was at 163mph and was still climbing slowly. Im not bothered about losing power, since i saw the supra in fast and furious iv been hooked on them since, especially since they have used the same one in 2 fast 2 furious (repainted etc). Preferably looking for a non turbo, cheaper to buy and run
Guest Bullitt
Thats quite impressive, what have you done to it? Scott =op Its running phase 2 chips, scorpion system, lightened flywheel, stage 2 clutch, rebuilt engine, dump valve ermm. . . .more just not interested in my cally anymore! Have a look
DrivingTheDream
You'd seriously regret buying a NA coming from a turbo car. You want a TT within days IMO. There's not that much difference between running the 2.
Scott
Bit of a strange car the calibra, was very underestimated. Very high top end considering their power. Good luck with the sup
DrivingTheDream
Plus the Supra is 1000 times more reliable than your Calibra so dont budget as much for mechanical problems.

Guest Bullitt
not in a rush. just in process of moving with my fiance so it will be a couple of months Selling Calibra wont (hopefully) be a problem then saving a little more.

Very true, the calibra of a certain age rusts and falls apart at an alarming rate. A Supra of the same age has none of that:)
