juanchan
Those Titanic ones were being advertised all over Geneva airport a few weeks ago, so I'm guessing having enough money to open a Swiss bank account is required to buy one?
Jamesy W
I prefer the 2nd, I'd give the missus, two ankle biting Shih tzu's and my left ball for one of those. Just the missus for the 1st.
Scott
Price for the first one, highlight to be frightened! just under $11k
CJ
I'm not much of a watch person but I love the first one. Not sure on the second one though - a bit too busy and fussy for me.
Alex
Agree with CJ ( ) 2nd is too fussy...
marbleapple
No one seems to have prices from what i can see. "This sweet looking limited edition Titanic DNA wristwatch from Romain Jerome actually utitlizes real steel from the Titanic. This version in particular uses rusted steel, which I think looks the best. It is also available in platinum/rusted steel, pink gold, and white gold versions." Ewen
Whenever I get all moist over a watch I cant afford, I buy a Leatherman, as you do. I like this http://www.leatherman.com/products/tools/skeletool-CX/default.asp
Pete
I've never understood the fascination with expensive watches. I don't even wear one. Yeah they look pretty, but I couldn't bare to part with the cash to buy one.

Yeah they look pretty, but I couldn't bare to part with the cash to buy one. For me, its the engineering and craftsmanship. Im a bad bu**er (sigh) with pens, guns, tools, knives, anything that has machined steel / alloy / cogs whatever. Im sat here toying with a watch now...gorgeous shiny thing it is too. Mechanical watches have a heart and soul, almost a living thing that gives me a lot of pleasure to own and hold. One of the reasons my TRD billett oil cap spent a few weeks on my desk at work before I put it on the car:)

RedM
Did you see that analogue 'digital' watch in the Mail On Sunday last week? I can never tell with you:)...The £30 jobbie in Mailshop ? Or something a little more exotic ? No, it was £150,000 or something daft. Swiss made. It was basically a mechanical watch, all the gubbins inside and it used these to flip some digital style numbers. No batteries, no electronics. The little pieces that made the numbers weighed 10 milligrams. I can't find it on the MoS site. Any luck on the watch forums?
