Keep Getting Gay Text Messages!

Havard

Recommended Posts

I would like a bit of advice please. For the last three weeks I have been getting a text message almost every day with "Hey, ring this number to meet guys who want to kick your back doors in!" and "The party on line just got hotter, meet trouser bandits all night long!" etc.

The number is always the same but sometimes the message is slightly different. It's an 0871 number and the message is asking me to ring it! At first I wasn't bothered but it is now really getting on my tits!

Has someone been vindictive and put my mobile number on a gay site or could the info have been passed between sites without my agreement. I have bought cd's on line and have been asked for a contact number so I always give my mobile. I am going to contact Vodafone to see if I can get the messages blocked.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Loving the exaggeration about what the text messages say :rlol:

I just presumed you'd be interested. Sorry mate. :)

Thanks Ads, did you get your free dildo in the post....:D

You have obviously upset someone :rlol: - i wouldnt have done that if i were you.

Type the number into google and it will give you info. Then find out how to un-subscribe!

I've upset a lot of people in my time but I wouldn't be so childish and petty to do that, I'd rather have it out with them face to face which is what people don't seem to like!

Thanks for the advice Jon, I didn't realise you could do that!

"Hey, ring this number to meet guys who want to kick your back doors in!"

I locked myself out of the house the other day and could've really done with their help.

Can I have their number please just in case I need some emergency forced entry in the future?

I paid a fortune for my patio doors, no thanks!

So how many times you called now?

Every day, they never call, never write....:(

To try and be a bit more helpful, try just sending STOP to the number. lol

Apparently that doesn't work according to that link I posted up. I am on the phone to Vodafone now and they are saying that they can stop individual numbers, it's either all or nothing.....

I basically have to ring the premium rate number and ask them to stop!!:(

F.F.S!!

Right then, got it sorted!

I rang the number and spoke to customer services. They say that my number was not registered on a site but I had called one of their 0870 lines on the 4th of March. I asked for the number and it turns out to be one of my customers in Yorkshire.....:(

It seems that the company APN is in charge of a number of phone lines and if you call one, it gets cross referenced to the others...... Basically, if I ring this customer again (Mechanical Design Consultant) from my mobile then I will probably end up on the list again and get Frisky faggots fanclub sending me messages!! Oh and if you ring Anglesey Airport you'll also come get shafted as that is the same number/call centre!

These phone companies are a law unto thierselves!!
