stephenwap
Hi i was thinking of buying the same kit for my supra from ultimate velocity on e-bay and was wondering is it a full front bumper you get with it or an extension, do you have to buy a new fuel cap and is the kit difficult to fit and maintain. any help would be much appreciated. Cheers steve
Guest dogzzilla
Hello mate-It is a great quality kit but the gel coat was very inconsistant. As far as fitting goes I did it myself with no experience but not without problems. The bits I expected to be difficult were the easiest (rear arches),just endless sandind/filling/blending. Front arches were an absolute bitch as you leave the top of the old ones on! Getting the bonnet to sit flush was a nightmare-as you can see the shut lines on mine are fasr from perfect. The fuel cap supplied was a terrible fit & just didnt look right so fitted one from an R1!. The front bumper is a complete piece but again very awkward to fit with quite a bit of brute force/bracing. That said I am very pleased with it but it is not easy to live with-bitch to park & narrow roads give me the willies every time a car approaches. Anything I can help you with just ask. stephenwap
Thanks for that mate, it's much appreciated i think i might go down the line of veilside overfenders cos i dont't think my bodyshop would be too impressed with that amount of work, and irish roads are twice as bad as the ones over there so it'd probably just get wrecked. thanks again
turbonut
You've obviously put loads of work into it, really paid off, you have a beautiful, unique supra - even though its a PINTA as a daily driver! Looking forward to seeing it in the metal at future meets Linda x
