HKS Spiel,

The F-CON V not only adjusts the fuel management system but can also adjust ignition timing and cancel each limiter function that is in the factory computer. It can be used for up to an 8 cylinder sequential injected engine, reading all signals of fuel supply, injection timing, ignition close angle and speed of each cylinder independently, altering data if desired. F-CON V controls the engine fuel and ignition map completely, with no changes to the stock CPU. Speed and rev limiter cut is also read and can be eliminated. The F-CON V can be used as a stand alone unit (no factory computer). The F-CON V uses air flow, pressure, throttle position 1, water pump, intake air temp, speed, and all other cylinder signals of the stock computer. It also uses pressure signals from the HKS Pressure Sensor, and output signals of all other existing HKS components such as the GCC, VPC, etc. By recalculating data from the original map memorized inside, it is possible to control functions more precisely than the stock computer. F-CON V contains a self diagnostic function which can determine errors not only in the F-CON V main unit or each input signal, but also the air flow, pressure, crank angle, throttle, water temp, and intake sensors. F-CON V stores up to 4 different fuel and ignition maps with access through the dip switch on the front panel when adjustment is desired.

In short, the ecu will safely lean out your fueling at WOT, while retarding and advancing ignition to prevent knock, opening up those extra horses at bpu. The ecu can also take advantage of bigger injectors w/o a remap as it is re-scales on percentage basis.

The HKS TP5-1 Harness is for use with the F-CON SZ, F-CON iS, and F Con V. On all non-VVti Supras, and manual transmission.

The Harness alone is worth over £150 brand new.

I ran 391.5bhp at 1.1bar with first cat still in and an intermittent boost leak, on a j-spec tt. This should take you over 400mark with a straight through exh, s/fmic, 1.2bar restrictor ring.

If you are looking at staying bpu with stock twins, this is the perfect upgrade. Very easy to install too.

From what ive read, i can have the stock ecu sort the auto box out then the HKS will do the rest correct. it this all i need to 'plug n play' (apart from some mapping of course.

I'm running Jspec auto on stock tubbies, decat, walbro, FMIC, AEM tru boost.

If all good then yeh i'll take it.

I cant see why it wouldnt control an auto as it piggybacks off the main oem ecu, but it does say m/t on the side,

You will not need to map this if you are staying at bpu, the costs would far outweigh the benefits if you decide to go single and get someone like tdi to remap this.

It is plug and play

hmm ok, i will take it, although id like to find out about the m/t vs a/t first (on monday)

anyone else know if this would be ok

And i deffo wont need any other harness or sensor to use this as is.

incidently this know as the F Con V Pro, just trying to find some bumpf on the web

as for tdi mapping.. errr no thanks too many cars going pop lately

paypal ok.

This is not known as the F Con V Pro...if it was, you'd expect another 0 at the end of the price,;)

The F Con V Pro is the upgrade to this, with a lot more features comparable to a motec/autronic/aem e.t.c,

There are no other sensors needed as it uses all the existing oem ones, I would suggest a BC so you can adjust the boost at your given will, but its not needed

paypal is fine
