new job!

well ive been looking around for a new job lately been working at a land rover dealership as a tech but wanted to go somewhere thats more to my taste! so friday i had an interview at a toyota and lexus dealership in cambridge ! foned up tuesday saying i've got the job! how convient! lol cant wait went through there workshop and they had a supra on the ramp ! im guna be in heaven lol

well started monday had tuesday off due to work rota and today this came in!

not sure if the lad is a member on here but said jm imports got it in for him a week or two ago!

Nice Car, you may have wanted to have blacked out his reg tho he may not be happy to have it plastered on the net ;)

 

Was there summat wrong with it or just a check over?

i dont no how to blank out the reg :rolleyes: the horn werent working had an aftermarket sparco steering wheel on and whoever put it on had butchered the wiring for the horn but being saturday we told him to rebook for monday because it needs stripping out and sorting properly!

 

the paperworks alright used to it now! when first started out as a tech tho i only had to fill out a service tick sheet! that was it!

every job has a downside! lol should be easier work than land rover so i aint complaining!

 

Yep working for Toyota is very easy work as the cars are so simple. Don't expect to see to many supe's come in though, we only normally see them if they want genuine parts. However like you said there is always a down side, im thinking of leaving my dealer however the guys i work with are keeping me there.

yeah the lads there are brilliant settled in really well! its quite a young workshop as well the foremans still in his 20's ! the apprentice there is older then me and another tech! and i've been qualified for 2 years july lol ! they was saying that they dont see to many supes but the unit couple down from ours a lad there owns a silver supra with nice rims and a different spoiler!
