Quick BPU question

Hi- did a search, but it didn't answer my question, so sorry for a potential re-post:

If you remove the second cat, but leave the first on, will the car still pass the MOT?

If so, if you leave the first cat on, could a Blitz SBC raise the boost over factory?

What is a quiet, yet decent breathing exhaust? (cat-back- can't have loud stuff as my wife has a major hearing prob)

Instead of using a FCD- could a GReddy E-manage be used instead? Would it be better?

Would it be more cost effective to use a Blitz ECU (like that one on Fensport) than an E-manage and a boost controller?

Cheers.

1. Yes it should pass MOT with first cat still fitted.

2. Yes a boost controller will be able to raise the boost, would get the Greddy E-01 Boost Controller if you are getting the e-manage as they can be linked.

3. You don't need the FCD if you have the e-manage fitted, definitely better but more expensive.

4. I would definitely recommend going with the Greddy e-manage and Greddy E-01 Boost controller.

If you're only going to remove one cat I would take the first one out and leave the second - the first one is the more restrictive. That's what I did originally.
I agree. Also the cats retains a lot of heat so taking away the one nearest the engine is probably a good idea.

The only downside is that changing the front cat is more difficult than changing

the second one.
