francis
Hi there guys Planning on doing a weekend road trip to France this weekend... just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of really nice places to go within a few hours of Calais, there's obviously Paris but parking might not be the easiest... If anyone has any suggestions, including good hotels/places to stay that aren't too pricey I'd greatly appreciate it!! Cheers, Francis

SUPRASUZUKI
Le Touquet approx 1 hr ish south of Calais on the coast. Very nice. Staid in the Mercure Grande Hotel short walk from the twon centre. +1 Definitely recommend Le Touquet. I'm going again in June for a golf weekend (5th time). Loads of good restaurants etc. It's not cheap, but worth going. It's where the Parisians have their holiday homes, hence it's full title - Le Touquet Paris Plage (Paris beach). We stay at the Holiday Inn, 5 mins walk from the town center.
ivan
Le Touquet all the way. Follow the coast road though, don't stick to the main drag.
Shane
Hey Francis, thats a coincidence. I am away to France this weekend with my new bird. We are going by Eurotunnel and then up to Deauville for a few days. Sadly the weather for the weekend looks shocking.
