Dave
i brought my alloys from premeier wheels on fleabay just before christmas.paid less than 500 for them was really pleased when i got them they looked the dogs danglees [see pics in my garage] didnt use the car over the winter not much anyway and i cleaned the wheels on a regular basis now they have developed scabs on all four of the chrome rims and im not happy gonna cost me at least 200 quid to get them done again . so guys beware if you think there too cheap then thats because they probably cheaply made. Dave
we live and learn mate. maybe it was the grit from the gritter lorry cause our road got a lot of gritting over the winter should have put the old ones back on
brians25
same problem as you mate, jaero ruff i think the wheels are called, i have just had to rub the lip on all four back to the alloy, re polish an then seal with some jetseal 109, it will cost you about 30 quid all in for materials an about a day or 2s work, oh an the lip is not chrome, it's just highly polished alloy that looks like a stainless lip but isn't, you'll find that out if you decide to re -furb them yourself, they come up like new after the sanding down an a polish, bleeding fingers time again though

Tricky-Ricky
You guys don't want much do you:p what do you expect for less than £500, i have had wheels costing four times that and still had problems from salt/grit, in fact it will affect even good quality forged rims, all i can say is i have the same rims and they have been on my supra all winter, and yes i have to clean and polish them, but they are fine, all the Jero rims are polished non lacquered, therefore you need to keep them clean, they even give you a can of wheel protector with them. A tip for easy cleaning, get some fine wire wool and use it with Solvol, then buff, they come up great;)
