nr000001
Everything went like planned on my Goodridge brake line installation even got into problems (described in other threads) with the right side front brake line as suspected. The male part of the hard line won´t go deep enough to get the threads to bite even a bit to get the line tightened up. So some filing needs to be done to hard line part, but could someone describe which part and how it should be filed down a bit? I wouldn´t want to try to do something and go wrong with it... SatSport
The `flared` bit at the end needs to be carefully filed down so as to fit
Chris Wilson
The end of the flared NUT expands as Toyota do them up so tight, carefully and evenly file down the plain, but now deformed end of the NUT until it's a bit smaller in diameter and enters the pipe fitting easily. Rotate it with your fingers as you file.

merckx
The end of the flared NUT expands as Toyota do them up so tight, They do. I had that problem with the pipe entering the fuel filter, it would only unscrew a few turns before stopping solid.
