stuohy
Just a quick note so that (hopefully) no-one on here gets caught out by this... If you buy something from RedSave.com, you automatically get signed up for their "RedPass"... which costs £19.95 a month! I bought a present for my mum at the end of Jan, and have just found that they have been taking this from my account monthly; apparently it is hidden in the t&c, but isn't that obvious (it's 12 pages long). grahamc
surely you can claim that back from them? threaten with Trading Standards
Whitesupraboy2
nope its perfectly legal i got caught too. then I found out my friend works for his other company, so I went down there and gave him a right shouting at and he laughed in my face and had me escorted off the premisses. He told my mate that 'doing over' everyone makes no difference, the internet gives him access to the world and by people buying at the lowest prices from him, they use him and dont read T&C's 2 months down line they spot the bill and he's made £40. so what if they dont use them again, theres alot of people in europe to use his site. Arse*le I didnt even get everything I wanted. i wanted black digital photoframe and got silver and no free memory card.

Scoboblio
I don't think thats right. I would report them to trading standards personally. Maybe the citizens advice bureau could help you too? Got to be worth a try. How are they charging you? Credit card?
Whitesupraboy2
I don't think thats right. I would report them to trading standards personally. I ticked that i agreed to the T&C's so its legal. what your actually doing is signing up to a members account where the first month is free, I.e not on your bill you have to have a members account to buy from them you can however cancel it straight after your order. stuohy
This is what they have been forced to change it to recently... before this (when I shopped there), there was very little evidence of the "subscription" http://www.redsave.com/images/shoppingpass/header.gif Order any product at the RedSave.com Pass Price and get your Shopping Pass Subscription with an initial FREE 30 days.
