On of the lockers to the hood wont close, it is the left one if you stand right in fron of the car looking at it.

Anyone that hade the same problem, that maybe had some tricks to get it fixed? Or I have to buy me a new one?

Becuse it looks if you self push it down.

But how hard you close the hood it wont lock on that side!! strange!!

Why is it usually that left one?

If adjusting the rubbers doesn't help you may want to try the catches.

The catches are held in place with bolts that centre themselves with tapered seats:

These force the catch to sit in a specific position, generally a good thing :) However in order to lift the catch slightly you can swap the tapered bolts out for conventional ones, you have to do them up really tightly though otherwise the process of closing the bonnet can knock them downwards and make the problem worse.

I have tried to put down a scredrivers and then it locks.

And also tried to lower the rubbers on the side and even take them away, but it wont lock anyway.

So I am gonna try the bolt thing and hope that it works!

how high are you dropping the bonnet from i find mine takes a good 8-10" (ooo err missus) drop to engage both catchs, dont be timid with it this is how toyota/lexus mechanics are trained to do, if you push it by hand you WILL put dents in the bonnet its very soft (ally) also have you added anything that could be obstructing it i had a radiator overflow hose that stopped mine shutting
