Chris Wilson
Beautiful day here in sunny Shropshire, I shaved off Rommel the Russian Black Terrier's winter coat and then took all the dogs for a good long run. Boris gets the good news tomorrow, then his girlfriend Mischka. Monte and Rossi got clipped a few weeks back. It's hard work with so many dogs that need clipping, so I try and stagger their haircut needs. No chance of a show clip though, it's short back and sides and no messing! I hope it doesn't turn frosty before they get used to their sudden lack of fleece I don't know about you, but there's something about Spring that gives me a bit of a boost and drives away the Winter depressions and cobwebs. Even the cows seemed happy today, even if there isn't much grass left and they are still on haylage. Shame about the owl though, he's one bad tempered sod right now, flying at the dogs, any passing fowl, anything that moves in fact, his mate is egg sitting and he's got the old hormones flowing right now. Took a load of pics to prove to myself it really was a warm, dry day, I need reminding in this English climate sometime http://www.newbury-house.com/spring/spring.html
Guigsy
Same here. bit i have been fixing up my office in my house after living here almost 2 years. got some nice shelves to show off my car collection now and some pictures on the walls. only missing something proper to cover the window. Ive taken some pictures. it was so dull before. The shelves have some lights in the bottom of them. the top shelf has some led spotlights for the cars and the bottom one has some colour changing leds that go through the rainbow. But you cant see them on the pictures This weekend im gonna sort out my bedroom as after 2 years i still havent got a wardrobe
Muffleman
Agreed mate, had to admit I was looking out the window thinking that spring is finally on it's way - still cold tho !
Chris Wilson
I don't need a wardrobe, I have so few clothes they are either on my back or in the machine I'd be too ashamed to put a photo of my home office up, you'd think there'd been a bomb gone off, or an earthquake. I know where everything is, but the wife doesn't believe me.

Chris Wilson
Depends why you are asking, if they've got out and caused mayhem, they are Jane's. If you want to buy one, they're mine They aren't cows, they are ornamental mowers, anyway!

Cor, didn't realise you had cows as well as an army of dogs and emus and...... actually - any chance of a full inventory - I'm curious now! I've been to yours twice and never spotted any of these things, lol. Are they my favorite type of cow - the 'walking steak' - or another kind? Umpteen doves, but only 4 are ours, the rest are the neighbours, but we seem to feed them.
RobSheffield
Its nice to have the windows down on the car, even though there were intermittent bouts of monsoon here in Sheffield making it feel none springy

We had a Highland Cattle Society at school with 15 beasts and what placid creatures I found them to be.

I think of that list, - well, of the animals I've heard of before(!) - the eagle owls would probably be my favorite. They always seem quite.... accomodating, in the situations I've been lucky enough to get close to one - what sort of temprement do they have in reality? Chris Wilson
We could perhaps have a mini meet in the summer... I try and go into their compound as little as possible, they are unpredictable, and when in the mating season the little male is a devil. He'd have no worries having a go at a person or dog. When I clean out in there I wear my old karting leathers and an old crash helmet. Max Moseley eat your heart out...
SteveR
We could perhaps have a mini meet in the summer... That would be great Chris - seeing your cars & a few of the least-likely-to-eat-someone animals would be interesting to a few of us I'm sure.
