Guest Pr4mnceMan
Hey guys, newby here! The other day my low fuel light popped on @ half tank and has continued to stay on. I have filled up 100% twice now, other than that I have not had any free time to do any "testing" and was curious if this is a common problem? This is my first MKIV. Thanks in advance! Chris Wilson
I'd start at the tank sender unit, especially if it's had a none stock fuel pump fitted at some time. It's under the cover, under the spare wheel.
Guest Pr4mnceMan
I've put a Precision 67dbb on the car, but still on the stock fuel system. Hopefully this weekend I'll have a chance to pull the sending unit out. Free time is almost non existent with me. Thanks for the welcomes!
Ian C
I hope you aren't running any boost on it then or the low fuel light will be the least of your probs Someone on here tried that, ran 1.2bar of boost and unsurprisingly lunched their engine bigtime -Ian
