Jamesy W
I'm off work just now after a death in the family and decided to have a go at getting the interior up to scratch. Renewed the steering wheel now I'm on to the dash. I've became a little bit stuck, can anyone tell me how to remove the dimmer switch? I done a search but couldn't find anything. I'm in two minds which colour to go with, Toyota silver No2 or Audi Dolphin Grey.?
marc_p
Sorry to hear about that, but on another note, silver looks better but the grey looks more high quality, IMO anyway.
Jamesy W
Cheers bud, I have already bought the silver paint but started having second thoughts. I was thinking that the grey would look sweet with those chrome surrounds you see on Ebay but silver does look good as well.

Stratty
After spiling superglue on mine at the weekend, I have decided to paint it as well. I thought gun metal grey would look sweet.
Jamesy W
I've sacked it already lol, took all the panels out, removed all the rubber junk off them started priming the gear surround which was very simple, then the ash-tray lid but that proved to be a whole lot harder than I thought it would be. Tomorrow morning I'm taking them to a specialist, rather have them done right than have to put up with looking at them all the time when I balls it. supra_si
i found the ashtray lid the hardest to do 'cos of the lip on it. im sure you will do a great job. the pain of taking the rubber off is the longest part

Jamesy W
Cheers for that Brian, I got the knob sorted, Whereabouts in Scotland is that place? Was that them doing all the prep work as well? I have already removed some of the back rubber gear, primed the gear surround and the ashtray.
