standardsupra20
Whoever fitted the gt28r to my na/t was having a laugh! They used a tatty old bit of hose to make the intake fit, this has broken up & flown straight into my turbo bending the shaft & knackering the fan..... Question is, what do you guys rekon I should replace it with? Or do you know anyone who could repair it? Cheers.................
Nicolai
Why not buy a cheap as* xs power one in the meantime, so you can drive again?
Nic
What NA-T kit do you have fitted? What is the flange on the manifold T3 or T4? What other mods have been done eg. fueling, ecu, engine, etc?
Tricky-Ricky
If its got a T28R then it would need an adaptor plate to fit a T3/T4, why have a look over on the SXOC you should be able to pick up a cheap replacement.
standardsupra20
Thanks for the help guys, I'm not possitive but the flange is a T25? I think all gt28r's have these flanges? Ryan.G has installed a mappable ecu & the cars got a larger intercooler etc but I'm feeling a bit skint & have been quoted over £1700 for a replacement fitted. Mind you that was for a gt35r so would be an improvement.. Where do I look for this xsoc? Cheers, Keef.
tDR
http://www.sxoc.com/vbb A GT28R is far too small a turbo for a 3 litre 6 cylinder engine IMO - I had one fitted to a 1.8 (CA18DET) which boosted nicely with it on!!! Cheers, Brian.
