Stratty
I bought a set of chrome rings to put around my dials and most of them went on no problem but I was having trouble putting the one on the speedo so decided to glue it in place. I put some glue around the ring and held it in place but it didn;t work. Only then did I notice that the glue had run down my dashboard. What a mess... Does anyone know what i can use to get it off?? I triad some white spirit but it just made it look worse. Gutted...
Nic
Anything that will remove the glue will also remove the rubber coating on the dash panel and probably melt the plastic as well. Probably better starting again with a new panel.

He's got a facelift, so no rubber there luckily. The only thing you can try is acetone (Nail Polish Remover), but it may make things worse.. Stratty
I was thinking that I could always spray them. I know a lot of people have done it but just how easy is it to remove the panels (bearing in mind I know nothing about cars apart from where the petrol goes )? Harllequin
You can buy Supergle Debonder. I always have some handy in the garage I got my last lot from screwfix. That may melt the glue enough for you.
