Jake
Just do the usual thing; see the chick-flic and pretend to be a nice guy until you've got your leg over then revert to doing what you like and seeing what films you want.

Roger
In my opinion going to the theatre is a cliche and boring idea for a first date, to me its strange to sit in the dark with a person I haven't gotten to know too well. Watch a movie at your place instead, just tell her that there isnt anything at the cinema that you really want to watch. Then its easier to escalate from there. She might get turned off if you take her to a chick flick or show your soft side too soon.

Trig
Ice skating is my choice for a first date, also gives you an excuse to hold hands! which may lead to other things later
MrDriver
Movies on a first date, bad idea I think. You can better do something interactif! Ice skating is a good example - P -

Charlotte
Don't go and see The Cottage, whatever you do. It was rubbish! Unless you like looking at Jennifer Ellison's breast area - which is probably not wise on a first date, unless she's a lesbian.
Whitesupraboy2
I always go somewhere where you can make a fool of yourself by accident. Women love to be made to laugh....although they dont want to be seen with a clown so you have to find the correct way. Ice skating is a good example...fall over and pretend you cant back up...or if like me you just cant get back up and have to have 2 people come over and help you as she laughs at you

Kopite
Yeah because they probably want to scratch that itch of curiousity they've got ..... "where do i know this idiot from?".......... then it hits them! I saw your poster in the tube station! Then that itch of curiousity now becomes a worrying sense of itch around the groin area after letting you in the house!!
