Pete
Oh damn. I've managed to lose both my own and Vickis old paper style licenses. Lord knows where, looked everywhere. Old trousers, jackets, draws, bank info etc. All I can think is I've used them as ID somewhere and then left or dropped them. I was expecting a nightmare reapplying, needing photos etc. Went to the DVLA site, used my Government Gateway ID (for tax submissions) to login and I had the chance to apply on line. A really cool feature is they've used my passport photo for the license. All applied for, paid and done on the website in less than 5 mins. ivan
Boll*cks. I should've just clicked to upgrade shouldn't I? The only trouble with that is that they then ask you to cut your old license in half and send it back to them. I was p'd off with having to pay a tenner too - so I sent mine back in 1/4" pieces.
