IDO
On their way back from the BTCC at Brands Hatch no doubt. Another sad loss. Not sure if that was the case as the plane was heading for biggen hill, which is only a few miles from brans.. unless it was heading back to the airport due to troubles?.. It crashed about half a mile from my house.. it must have had quite some trouble as i heard it go over mine.. scared the **** out of someone i am seeing as she lives down that road... Havard
RIP.... Used to be a big fan of his when he raced for Nissan. Mainly because I had one! In the story on sky news it claims that the plane had trouble with "engines". I take it it only had one and that was a mistake? I'll never trust single engined aircraft! H. Correct, they had troubles straight after taking off and Biggin Hill was an unscheduled emergency landing.
