Engine bay wiring - name those plugs!

Here's a challenge for you all, can you help identify what each of the plugs in the pics below are for?

1. Connects to steering box, not sure what it does

2. Oil level sensor (I think, it attaches to the block)

3. Alternator

4. EGCV VSV or Wastegate VSV

5. EGCV VSV or Wastegate VSV

6. Narrowband O2 sensor

7. Water temp sensor for ECU

8. Water temp sensor for temp gauge

9. Coil pack connector

10. Coil pack connector

11. Coil pack connector

12. Coil pack connector

13. Coil pack connector

14. Coil pack connector

15. IACV VSV

16. EGBV VSV

17. Injector #1

18. Sub Trac TPS

19. TPS

20. Trac stepper motor

21. EVAP VSV

22. Knock sensor

23.

24. Noise filter

25. Igniter pack

26.

27. Fuse box

28. Fuse box

29. injector #2

30. injector #3

31. Either MAP, IAT, or Cam position sensor

32. Either MAP, IAT, or Cam position sensor

33. injector #4

34. injector #5

35. ICV stepper motor

36. injector #6

37. Cam position sensor

38. Either MAP, IAT, or Cam position sensor

39. Vehicle speed sensor

40. Knock sensor

41. Probably autobox

42. possibly starter motor

43. possibly starter motor

The first pic shows the ones at the far end of the loom (go around the front of the engine).

And with more detail:

http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/6613/image005fd7.th.jpg

The next set go over the top of the engine (obviously most are coil pack connectors):

These are around the throttle bodle area (presumably TPS, etc)

I'm not sure where these are from exactly, but they are just down the loom from the throttle body ones above):

These ones go to the ignitor, and something else?

These I think go somewhere along the intake manifold (presuably injector related?): Two of the plugs are cut off (31 and 32)

The final set go around the back of the engine I think:

Brilliant work Ian, thanks very much mate!!

Lol at the last few, got a bit carried away with the numbers :D

First post is updated, any ideas on the missing ones? The ones in Red need verifying. There doesn't seem to be a Crank position sensor listed, I think that might be 1. or 2.

Pfft, i was just starting it off for you but yeah, you are right, number one is elsewhere :p

Oops, sorry mate, I thought I'd already replied to you - doh!

So, a belated "thanks very much" Rob :D

Either 1 2 or 3 has to the the CPS plug, Ian said 3 is the alternator which makes sense so I guess it must be 1 or 2.

Homer,

Go to, http://www.internetwork.org.uk/supra.html where you can download a complete set of manuals including all the electrical sections which cover plug locations, plug types, wiring harnesses etc etc.

You can then look at your leasure and follow each harness route on yourcar.

Rgds

George
