Which PS3 ?

I decided I wanted a Blu-Ray player so thought I'd look into it. Well, it would appear that the PS3 is the better bet at the moment as it's upgradeable and in fact BD Live is now available via update whereas most standalone DVD players are 1.0 or 1.1.

Really annoys me actually, I don't want a PS3 (never get time to play games on the PC or 360 at the moment !) I want a BR player that I can stack underneath the Sky+ box

Anyway, what's the real differences between the 40g and 60g versions ? As it's quite a price difference.

Cheers :)

You can get a Blu-Ray player for £200.

Yeah but probably be profile 1.0.

whats BD live?

Web enabled HD content, picture in picture extras, basically more crap :D

Let the fuss die down. Blu-Ray players will drop in price before too long. :)

Yeah true, but never been particularly patient ;)

Just have to get a PS3 with remove I spose.

oh there is a 320GB replacement??

no, the hard drive on the PS3 is a standard PC hard drive and not cased up in fancy connectors etc... like the xbox. Meaning you can just buy a hard drive from a PC shop and replace it. You need to read instructions that comes with ps3 for max size supported and connection type.
